On September 5, 2026 we did mini-presentations about starting native plant gardens at our table during the Marion Prairie Festival. It was an event sponsored by the North Central Ohio Pollinator Pathway group. To support that presentation, we created the “Creating Your Native Garden” page under our “Resources” tab in the site menu. That page contains:
- Questions about garden intention, goals, style, and scope
- Garden conditions and other factors to consider
- Design features
- Plant selection thoughts
- Design layout suggestions
- Resource links for plant selection and design help/plans
The page also has a link to parts of our site describing (with photos) how we created our native plant gardens (always available directly under the “About” tab in the top site menu):
