Last Saturday night I did a moth sheet. I was hoping for some of the larger and showier moths, but it was mostly smaller friends. The evening was coolish for August and there was a fair amount of moonlight, so that probably did not help. Thirteen species visited according to iNaturalist identification and some were new observations for Catchfly Commons. That brings the number of research grade Lepidoptera species observations here to 131 (out of 175 species observations).
